Veteran Nollywood actress and politician, Hilda Dokubo, on Wednesday morning visited the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, at his private residence in Port Harcourt.
It was gathered that the visit was to seek admission into the Wike-led rainbow coalition political family in Rivers State.
Sources described the meeting as cordial and strategic, coming amid ongoing political realignments in Rivers State ahead of 2027.
Reacting to the development, a political watcher noted: _"In all you do, find your calling. Wike's calling is politics and you can't do anything about it."_
Hilda Dokubo, former Labour Party candidate for Asalga/Akulga Federal Constituency and a known ally of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, has in recent weeks been making moves suggestive of a political shift.
As at press time, Wike's official response to the request was yet to be made public, but insiders say the rainbow coalition remains open to genuine Rivers sons and daughters willing to work in the interest of the state.
